FATOR - Tornillería Industrial
FATOR group, with nearly 50 years of accumulated experience, is a global group specializing in engineering, manufacturing, and commercializing industrial fasteners and fastening systems.
The value proposition of the FATOR group focuses on its role as a leading supplier of advanced engineering solutions in various industrial sectors such as solar energy, railways, roads and road safety, grain storage systems and structural engineering.
FATOR guarantees Total Quality by complying with international standards, offers a Comprehensive Service that encompasses everything from product design and selection to global logistics and technical support, focuses on Innovation and Customization to adapt to the specific needs of each project, ensures a Global Commitment with the capacity to supply anywhere in the world, and promotes Sustainability through responsible practices that minimise the environmental impact of its operations.
Recently, FATOR has been involved in several emblematic projects, highlighting the delivery of over 2,000 tons of FATOR brand fasteners for green energy generation in the NEOM Project in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, it has provided a direct supply of high-strength bolts EN 14399-4/6 from its factories to Cerro Armazones in Chile, contributing to the construction of the Extremely Large Telescope (ELT ESO). FATOR has also established itself as the leading supplier of high-strength fasteners for constructing metal structures in the ITER project in Saint Paul-lez-Durance, France, where 33 countries have participated since 2007. Lastly, FATOR has been a supplier of fasteners for several structural companies involved in renovating the iconic “Camp Nou” of FC Barcelona.
The contribution of FATOR to the CONNECT4C project covers the industrial aspects related to the design and manufacturing of metal fasteners for large-scale engineering and construction projects, enabling reuse and circularity to be pervasively incorporated into the business portfolio. In this project, FATOR will lead the dissemination and communication activities in WP11 and provide material and specialised fastener-specific know-how to WP5.
