C4C Toolkit

A physical kit which illustrates the CONNECT4C system and its potential in the field of reuse and adaptability in construction.

The kit consists in foundation elements (beams, columns and base) as well as connections (simple joints, moment resistant joints and column splices).

The C4C Toolkit is free to download

3D printing *.stl files of all different elements are available below.

The toolkit connections does not reproduce the real configuration of the CONNECT4C system connections, but rather its conceptual approach.

The purpose of the kit is to physically illustrate the concept of the CONNECT4C system

Demountable / Reusable / Adaptable

All elements allow multiple configurations as well as variations in beam width and column height.

The C4C Toolkit has been developed with the collaboration of:

– Marcio Sequeira (Mola Structural Model), for the concept and implementation of the toolkit.
– Alberto Andrés Dámaso and Gabriel Toledo Amador (FabLab ETSIDI, Polytechnic University of Madrid), for the 3D printing.

We greatly appreciate and value their cooperation.
